To ingrain the knowledge of data analytics among the faculty members one day FDP on data analytics was conducted at Krupanidhi Degree College, BCA department on 7th September 2019. The speaker of the day was Mr. Abhijith Choudhary, Co-founder, CEO and platform architect, Azureikan Technologies private limited. The guests were Mr.Preethan Pandaradathil, COO and Mrs.Manju Geogy, project manager, Azureikan Technologies pvt ltd. Faculties from various college took part in the session.
In the first session, the resource person explained Data Science concepts by giving an overview about collection of integrated data sets and different areas. Followed by introduction to linear regression, classification methods – logistic regression, decision tree, Navie Bayes, clustering and neural network concepts.
Second session took place in the computer lab where the participants were introduced with the various Data Science Concepts, Hands-On experience with Kaggle which is included Data Analysis, Modeling/Statistics and Engineering and Prototyping. This FDP intended to orient participants towards gaining the knowledge on data analytics. Overall the session was quite informative and interactive.
