The MSc Microbiology programme provides an in depth knowledge to the mechanisms that underlie the function of the biological components, its relationship with other life science subjects such as General Microbiology, Biochemistry, Genetics, Medical, Agricultural, Industrial, Food, Dairy Microbiology; Immunology, Molecular Biology, Genetic Engineering, Bioinformatics, Biophysics and Aero or Space Microbiology etc.
This programme is tailored made to make it a part of the entourage of ‘Common Fresher’s Programme’ which is designed keeping in mind the holistic growth of the students within the School of Sciences.
The two years full time programme comprises of a vivid range of subjects which includes Bacteriology and Virology, Eukaryotic Microbiology, Microbial Physiology, Microbial techniques & amp; Bioinstrumentation, Biostatistics & Bioinformatics, Microbial Genetics & Molecular Biology, Immunology, Environmental Microbiology, Nanotechnology/ Research Methodology, Medical Microbiology, Recombinant DNA Technology, Food & Dairy Microbiology, Applied Microbiology, Minor Project, Agricultural Microbiology, Industrial Microbiology and Major Project.
