Dr. C. J. Rajendra Prasad, popularly known as ‘RP’, is a renowned Management and Retail Professional with B.Com, MBA and Ph.D in Management. With over 30 years of hands-on corporate experience at Senior Positions in India, GCC countries – UAE, Sultanate of Oman, Saudi Arabia and Africa, he has served Retail Organizations as Chief Operating Officer, with expertise in Product Management, Brand Management, Business Development, Strategic Management, Sales & Marketing, Financial planning, Chain Store-Anchor Stores-Entertainment Zone-Food Court-Multiplex-Supermarket-Hypermarket-Mall Management - with special emphasis on Operational Efficiency and Team Building. In his Leadership Positions in Retail, he served reputed companies like Mars International, SARCO and Fairtrade in Oman - Kanoo Group in Saudi Arabia - Quality Group in Tanzania - M.S. Ramaiah Group, Alpha G Corp, Lifetime Healthcare, Landmaark and Komarla Group in India.
He has chaired several Retail Conferences and Conventions and won prestigious awards - individually and for Brands and Organizations he has headed. He is also a Motivational Trainer and effective Public Speaker, a Professional Counselor & Advisor to Business Leaders & Entrepreneurs.
In his Academic pursuit, he has been a Visiting faculty in leadingManagement Colleges in India and abroad and served as Director – Retail Management at Symbiosis Skills and Professional University, Pune, which is known for its sector-focused, Skill-based, Practical learning. Presently he is serving as the Dean for PGDM and PG Programs at Krupanidhi School of Management, Bangalore.
He has contributed to the Retail expansions, Professional Retailing, Customer Relations, Product Performance and Market development activities in his various assignments and has received many awards and accolades for his contribution to the Global Retail Standards and for his commendable professional efforts exhibited in all his assignments and was recognized as “Top 100 Retail Minds,” Asia-Africa-GCC regions in Feb 2020.
