The department of BCA organised a Technical seminar on “IOT and Digital Transformation on 25th January 2018. The speaker of the day was Mr.Nagendra Kumar elluru, co-founder and entrepreneur of Neovegam technologies. The main aim of the technical seminar was to inculcate the idea of digital transformation and current trends in IOT.
Speaker gave an outline about the industrial IOT, wearable devices, data acquisition, SCADA, Machine to machine communication. He explained 3 different phases of IOT (internet of computer, people and things) which are applicable in our daily lives. He demonstrated the topic Business models and usage of it. He also gave an idea about holy trinity of digital transformation by sharing few interesting facts. Overall the session was fruitful to the young minds.
