Krupanidhi College of Physiotherapy


Krupanidhi College of Physiotherapy started conducting diploma courses in Physiotherapy and occupational therapy under the Vocational education board of Govt of Karnataka and later Bachelor of Physiotherapy courses under Bangalore University, and with Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences since 1995. The College was then upgraded to MPT program in the Year 2003. The college is currently planning to start its PhD program in the forthcoming year. As you browse through our website, you can get to know the level of commitment to quality Physiotherapy education and research over the years. The college will be shortly reaching its 20th year of existence, having established by our beloved Chairman Dr. Prof. Suresh Nagpal, a great visionary and educationist under the auspices of Krupanidhi Educational Trust.

The college has a progressive and planned course development in Physiotherapy . The Undergraduate program prepares the students to become skilled physiotherapist with competence in core areas of patient care which is met out with a diverse clinical training imparted in the BPT years. The Goal of MPT program is one of competence and leadership in major Physiotherapy fields of Musculoskeletal and Sports, Neurology, Cardio-respiratory, paediatrics and Community Based Rehabilitation.

The College is located in a peaceful and serene atmosphere in Bangalore with a sprawling 11 acre Campus which fosters a sense of calmness in the minds of the young, facilitating learning. The physical infrastructure of the college matches the best in the profession within country and abroad. The state of the art Fitness laboratory, electro physiology lab, therapeutic gymnasium and attached gait and movement science lab Provides the students with opportunities to learn skills first hand and implement the same with their patients.

All staffs have a Masters Qualification and necessary diversified teaching and practical skills with years of experience in their field of specialisation. They have distinguished themselves as resource persons for training Physiotherapists across India and have been reputed in being invited lecturers for conferences. Their caring nature and concern for the professional development of the students has supported mentoring the students of the college to achieve greater success in their life.

The focus of our Physiotherapy College is not to impart lessons but to inculcate in the students an education that is synchronised towards reducing the global burden of disease with a social responsibility inculcating values and ethics to caring the patients. This we believe is what the Institution stands for and the success of the alumni across the country and abroad in it's 20 years of existence stands testimony to the professional leadership of the college.
