NEOPHYTES 2K19 –Fresher’s Day

The 25th of July 2019 was a memorable day in the life of every fresher of Krupanidhi Degree College, Bangalore. The very purpose of Fresher’s Day party is to welcome newcomers in a friendly atmosphere and avoid social evils, to encourage their creative impulses to boost their confidence. It is the day where seniors and juniors finally bond and unite to celebrate being part of the college.
The title of the event was “NEOPHYTES 2K19” refers to a person who is new to a subject or activity. The theme of the event was “RED BUTTERFLIES” refers to the butterflies that are deep and powerful representation of life. Many cultures associate the butterfly with our souls. Around the world, people view the butterfly as representing endurance, change, hope and life.
The chief guest of the day was Mr.Prakash Rathod, Member, All India Congress Committee & MLC. The guest of Honour was Prof.Dr.Suresh Nagpal - Chairman, KGI. The guests were Dr.Sam Paul Issac - Director, KGI, Prof Shyjan P.M – Dean, KDC and Dr.Badrunisa .S –Principal, KDC graced the occasion.
The day witnessed Dance, music and lots of entertainment. The stage is set for fresher's to showcase their talent and compete for the Mr & Miss. Fresher's Crown.The participants for Mr. and Miss. Fresher, were selected by the seniors based on the audition round which also included the ‘Quiz Test’ before the Fresher’s Day. The first round for the selected 18 students was the “Dress to impress”. The second round was “Walk the Talk”. The third round was “Live Your Talent” and the final round for selected 4 students was “Q&A Jury round”.
At the end of the elated competition Mr.Shuhang subba of BA was crowned as “Mister Fresher 2019” and Ms. Aishwarya Jaya of BA was crowned as “Miss Fresher 2019” by the judges.
The entire program was grand success and was filled with excitement, joy, music, enthusiasm, laughter and happiness.
