The Batch of 2017 had planned a 4N/3D trip to Shimoga, Dandeli, and Gokarana. There were 37 students accompanied with 2 faculties.
Students left on the evening of 04th March'2020 and arrived early morning to Chikmangalur where they freshened up and after breakfast proceeded to Shimoga- for wild life sanctuary. They had an opportunity to have a close look at various wild animals like tiger, lion, panther, hyenas etc
Post lunch, the bus left for JOG falls- the 7th highest in the world. The view was mesmerizing.
They reached Dandeli right on time for dinner. The resort had arranged for rain dance and camp fire post dinner which the students enjoyed.
The early morning of 6th March started with the 8kms of Trekking. Post breakfast the bus left for the water sports at Dandeli and activities like rafting, kayaking, zorbing and boating and rappling was enjoyed with full enthusiasm by all the students.
After the afternoon nap, all the students enjoyed the cool swimming pool followed by rain dance. Post dinner, the camp fire was an incentive most cherished.
Next day morning the bus left for the last destination, Gokarana.
Gokarana included a 12km trek through the hills at the beach side, the beaches- Paradise beach, Half moon beach, Om beach, Kudle beach etc. The beaches were mesmerizing. Students enjoyed the sunset at the OM beach, it made the long trekking worth it.
Students headed for the college the same night and reached college by 9:30am on Sunday i.e. 08/03/2020
