Gender Discrimination is a systematic, unfavorable treatment of individuals on the basis of their gender, which denies those rights, opportunities or resources within any given society. Women Development Cell “PRERANA” along with Prevention of Sexual Harassment Cell “ABHAYA” has conducted collage competition on gender equity issues on 24th july 2019. Students of Krupanidhi Degree college have actively participated in the competition and expressed their views, stakes and strong messages through Pictorial presentation. The best way to end violence against women and girls is to prevent it from happening in the first place by addressing its root and structural causes. Prevention should start early in life, by educating and working with young boys and girls promoting respectful relationships and gender equality. Participants have portrayed originality in expressing their views on the social menace still prevalent in the modern society.
