Cricket is most celebrated tournament, which is organized every year in the month of September for which the students practice vigorously. Total eight teams from various departments participate every year. Campus Director Dr. Samuel Paul Isaac inaugurates the tournament very year. The competition gets tough every year because of the tough competitors and the winner of the semifinals perform in finals and the winning team is celebrated with awards.
Krupanidhi believes that participation in extra-curricular activities help in overall development of an individual which in turn results in having better grades and having interest in attending classes more regularly as this makes college an interesting place. Students are also exposed to learn crucial life skills such as team work and leadership in the process.
Krupanidhi Group of Institutions focuses equally on academics as well as on physical well-being of their students. Soccer is the most awaited tournament in Krupanidhi Group of Institutions, which will be organized in the month of January. The Soccer Court will be inaugurated by our Campus Director, Dr. Samuel Paul Isaac followed by a in-house soccer tournament . The main focus of holding such a tournament is to provide a platform for students to showcase their football tactics rather than giving them a competition feel. This tournament also provides an opportunity for the students to display their skills in a fun environment as well as teaching students the qualities of leadership, sharing, tolerance, and team-spirit. Krupanidhi Group of institution believes Sports and academic learning if carried out together increases the potential and eventually shapes the personality of a student.
Krupanidhi as an Institution has always been welcoming students not only across India but across the globe. Krupanidhi has a current enrolment of about 3500 students at its 11-acre campus in the south of the city. With the number of International students increasing every year, Krupanidhi has formed The International Student Council, also recognised as KISC, which is a representative council of all the International student communities.
International student council is the governing council that represents all international organisations on campus. KISC addresses international student’s issues and concerns with the College by representing a Council President. KISC organises events that promotes cross cultural understanding and awareness to bridge the gap between National and International and students on campus. President is elected by International student council with Board of Directors once in a year. New Council members are formed by the President after his election. Every department has two council members who represent their department. Calendar of events is formed every year for the International students. Council meeting is conducted once in a month to discuss various activities which will be held for the financial year. The main motto of the council meetings is to pair new incoming international student freshmen and sophomores with the current KISC members so that they can learn adjust to Kupanidhi culture.
KISC organises events that promotes cross cultural understanding and awareness to bridge the gap between National and International students on campus. Student council seeks to provide support to the international students at Krupanidhi Group of Institutions by hosting cultural program every year with aim of providing a space for international organisations, to get together. Various programs which benefit the international students such as Soft skill training and counselling are conducted frequently for their International students. Students across Karnataka take part in the events in Krupanidhi Group of Institutions. This is a program focused on pairing up native speakers of one country with another student, to allow for others to learn the language. KISC also works to promote the cultural understanding by organising various events, set up by the committees.

Integrity: Serve as a positive example
One of the most important duties of an International Students’ Council member is to serve as an example for members of the student body. Members are usually required to be in good standing in their classes and they must strive to avoid behavioural issues during and after college hours. Generally, they are expected to be helpful, courteous, and positive during college hours.
Courage : Provide an open forum
One of the major duties of the KISC member is to provide a forum where other international students can voice their issues/problems and hence, act as a liaison between the student body and faculty or administration. If a student raises an issue with the student council, members are responsible for discussing the issue, making a recommendation, and bringing the problem and potential solutions to the Management Committee Desk.
Collaboration: Organize events
The members of KISC are also responsible for organizing various educational, skill development, sports as well as intercultural programs in collaboration with different departments and organizations to unite and aid in professional development of the international student community at KGI. The KISC members are solely responsible for planning, fund management, organization and execution of those events in the campus.All such events need to be approved by the management committee.
Empathy: Service to society
The Members of KISC should also try and grasp opportunities where they can promote participation of the international student community in social service projects like blood donation, community clean –up and so on that align with KGI’s mission. It is up to the KISC members to identify the area where they can be of most help and to form a plan to serve other members of the community.
Innovation: Think out of the box
It is also the prime responsibility of the members of KISC to promote new ideas and bring them to light and notice of the KGI community. As a team, they could also venture into possibilities of start-ups that could flourish from within the institute or give wings to the ideas that come from any other member of the International Student community at KGI. Innovation could also be in area of designing of new programmes for the students and as well as fund raising activities that will help material the ideas of the council. They should also be able to design events that give opportunity for more International Students to participate from outside of KGI, such that, the KGI international student community builds strong and amiable liaison with the International Student Community Outside KGI.
1 The KGI management committee shall play a definitive role in both the formation as well as dissolution of the Krupanidhi International Students’ Council (KISC).
The KGI committee needs to be intimated about any upcoming KISC meetings and its agenda two days prior to the meeting date and the minutes of meeting need to be shared within two days post the meeting with the KGI committee via email.
The KGI committee reserves all rights to govern and judge the conduct of affairs by KISC at all grounds.
The KGI management shall have the final authority over approval or dismissal of any event planned out by KISC keeping in mind the KGI policies and the larger good of the KGI community.
The Board of Management/ committee on its own initiative may remove a member from the International Student Council for misconduct that affects the values and behavior that a council member should exhibit.
Krupanidhi Group of Institutions has always been celebrating Christmas festival with ardor and zeal within its 11 acre college premises and this year it was more grand and breathtakingly beautiful. A special assembly is organized on the eve of Christmas, keeping in mind its sanctity and relevance. Krupanidhi is "Home away from Home" for its students and Christmas being the most awaited Festival, the college has celebrated it with flying colors.
With loads of sparkle and glitter all around even the decoration of Christmas is meticulously arranged to suit the occasion. To complement the colossal campus of Krupanidhi; a huge Christmas tree is decorated with small ornaments, stars and gifts. With more than 2,000 students dressed symmetrically in red dress & 100+ faculties’ members along with 50+ supporting staffs at the campus carol songs of Christmas filled the ambience cosmic energies. Krupanidhi family celebrates this day together every year and makes it more special with the personal engagement affair with teachers students as well as the management members.
The talented students had presented an impressive array of programme on the eve of Christmas. As a mark of respect, the inauguration is being done by the beloved Chairman in the presence of Vice Chairperson, Executive Directors, Campus Director and Principals of different group of institution & other prominent political personalities, dignitaries. The festivity came to vivacity by the ether created from love and universal brotherhood of Christmas. Every year Krupanidhi spreads glitziness of Christmas by skits, plays, carols, food, dance, cake cutting & it is not possible by the blessings of Jesus Christ on that day. This vivacious event is sponsored end to end by the management itself, just to ensure the togetherness of the entire Krupanidhi Group.
